Courtney Clemm
Creative Director
Courtney Clemm is a visual artist combining her lifelong love of art and design with her desire to assist her community. After being inspired by the teachings of Dawa during her first pregnancy in 2024 and having a joyful natural birth; she dedicated her free time during maternity leave to self teaching herself graphic design. While working through her studies she began creating flyers and documents to aid Dawa’s mission, and eventually went on to redesign the Dawa website. Since then Courtney has become Dawa’s Creative Director, which has allowed her to act as an event coordinator, bringing intention to the design of retreats, activations, and products, providing photography assistance, and more!
In her free time, Courtney can be found lost in a fantasy novel, creating glass mosaic art, or sketching on her ipad. More can be learned about her on her freelance website, Studio Courtney.
You may see Courtney at Dawa events with a baby strapped to her or running in between her legs, but the passion keeps her driven to get the job done. She is excited to continue to help reconnect others with the timeless teachings of our ancestors through intentional and accessible design.
