About the event
Join us in nature and reconnect with the wisdom of the plants. Each Medicine Walk is an immersive experience where we’ll learn, harvest, and create medicine directly from the land around us.
What to Expect:
A guided walk through a local nature space in Pittsburgh (exact location will be shared in advance).
Learn how to safely identify and harvest seasonal plant medicine.
Discussion of ethical and ancestral harvesting practices.
Hands-on harvesting of one particular plant.
Cleaning, preparing, and processing the plant together.
Creating a medicine infusion (with alcohol or another menstrum) to take home.
Reflections on the importance of preserving plant medicine for the seasons ahead.
Important Details:
Location: Sent out prior to each walk. Location depends on what’s in season and where is best for harvesting.
Time: Each experience is 2 hours.
Price: Listed per person.
Rain Policy: In case of rain, a rescheduled rain date will be provided.
Children: You may bring a child or two, but they must remain under your care.
Outdoors: Dress appropriately for the weather and walking conditions. Comfortable shoes recommended.
Supplies: All harvesting and medicine making materials will be provided. You’ll leave with your own 8 ounce infusion.
This is an invitation to slow down, walk in gratitude, and remember the ancestral ways of gathering, preparing, and preserving nature’s medicine. This is the only way to thrive in today's world.
Make the investment in yourself and share this experience with someone you love!
Thank you for joining us as we tap into the abundance of nature.
Love always, Tayler
