About the event
DAWA Mama Wrap Our Womb Project
On August 31st, DAWA will join the Homewood Island Community Day as an information vendor, bringing ancestral wellness back to the heart of our community. Through the Wrap Our Womb Project, we are distributing 100 womb wraps to women and girls, while sharing tools, resources, and wisdom that help re-establish vibrant and healthy communities.
At our booth, you’ll find:
Guidance on womb wellness and the benefits of wrapping.
Information on joyful birthing experiences and holistic postpartum care.
Tips for nourishing the body with food as medicine.
Ancestral practices for living in harmony with nature.
Free resources including herbal teas, the DAWA Mama Starter Guide, and more.
This is not just a giveaway, it’s a movement. By acknowledging and caring for our wombs, we begin the work of healing generations and creating healthier, more connected communities.
